The All-New 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe

In a day and age when the box-shaped vehicle seems to have gone by the wayside in favor of more curvaceous and aerodynamic designs, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is a welcomed throwback to the days when the SUV was just starting to gain traction in its upward trajectory in popularity. Hyundai's third-row, full-sized SUV has a distinctive look matched by a price that underbuds many of its most notable competitors. The starting MSRP of only $33,000 is considerably less than similar offerings from Ford, Mazda, Honda, Toyota, and Kia. A new refresh of the interior and exterior makes the vehicle a valued commodity among family-oriented drivers. 

Performance & Capability

While the 2024 Santa Fe design might be a throwback to the SUV designs of days past, its powertrain is a far cry from the gas-guzzling V-8s geared more toward performance than practicality. The Santa Fe's sole powertrain consists of a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine. With 277 horsepower and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, Hyundai has taken the route of economy with its new full-sized offering. With an MPG of 21 in the city and 27 on the highway, Hyundai allows you to go much further for less. Luckily, the capability is not sacrificed, as the Santa Fe can tow up to 4,500 lbs when properly equipped. 

Interior & Comfort

If the exterior design of the Santa Fe takes you back, then the interior will completely take you away. Its white-toned interior is graced with comfort and spacious seating; the Santa Fe is also given an infotainment set spanning a foot in length. From this access point, such features as Apple and Android compatibility can be accessed with minimal effort. There's even a sterilization compartment for phones when they're not in use, which is appealing in a post-pandemic world.

Safety

If there's one thing that Hyundai does exceptionally well, it's packing its vehicles with a host of standard safety features. The 2024 Santa Fe is no exception. Items such as automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and even adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go assistance all come standard.
