This setup is ideal for drivers who prefer fuel economy to performance, as the engine offers 22 MPG in the city, which expands to 26 when the vehicle takes to the highway. For the truck driver fond of performance and capability, upper trims have a turbocharged version of the same engine, which contains 282 ponies of horsepower and produces 311 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Santa Cruz can tow up to 5,000 lbs.Â
Style
The discernible amount of style that Hyundai brings to the pickup is just as impressive. The exterior design is best described as the ideal compromise between truck and coupe, and the interior is refined and sophisticated. An available infotainment system that spans over ten inches provides wireless connectivity and charging with Apple and Android products.
